ओं माँ श्यामा तेरी जो चरण शरण आये!
माया की कौन कहे मायापति घबराये!
वनचरिन आचरन को श्रुति निंदित बतराये,
सहचरि करि उन सबको निज भुज भरि उर लाये!
तव पद रज पावन को पद्माहूँ ललचाये,
...ब्रज लता विटप बननो ब्रह्माहूँ मन भाये!
तेरी अनुकम्पा ते शिव गोपी बनि आये,
सनकादि ब्रह्मज्ञानी तन लतन पतन पाये!
चाहत "कृपालु" मेरी तेरी ही कहलाये,
भूले भटके कबहूँ तव सेवा मिल जाए!
तुम्हरी महिमा श्यामा, शयामहुं नहिं जानि सके,
धरि रूप अनंत थके, नहि ओर छोर पाये!
कोऊ साधन बल तुहम्हरी, पदरज नहिं पाइ सके ,
बिनु हेतु “कृपालु" तुम्हें, तुम्हरे जन बतलाये!

Hamaro mai, Shri Barsano gam.
Oh mother! Divine Barsana abode is my home.

Maharani Radha thakurani, saras sukhada abhirama.
Here only Shri Radha, who is an ocean of love and bliss, is our Queen and supreme Governess.

Gahavara vana, Vrishabhanu-kunda vara, Prema Sarovara thama.
In this divine abode, loving leelas are enacted in many woodland places such as Gahvarvan, Vrishabhanu-kunda, Prema Sarovara, and many others.

Vidhi Hari Hara durlabha rajadhani, Shri Vrindavana dhama.
Divine Vrindavana, which is unattainable even by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, is our capital.

Biharata nija Swamini sanga kunjani, punjani athon yama.
Here we always enjoy the supreme bliss of mahārāsa, and stroll in its flowering arbours and bowers with our queen, Shri Radha.

Dagara buharata pantha niharata, rahata brahma ghanashyama.
In this land, supreme God Shri Krishna Himself sweeps the footpath to prepare it for Shri Radha, and every moment He anxiously awaits Her arrival.

Chhake ‘Kripalu’ prema ras dolata, lai lai Radhey nama.
Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, “We, too, stroll leisurely in this divine abode, intoxicated with the nectarean wine of divine love, always chanting Radhey, Radhey.”

Braj mahan as braja ras barasavati, lajat vikuntha-dhani,
Our Shri Radha showers such a unique bliss of divine love in Braja that beholding it even the almighty Lord of Vaikuntha, Mahavishnu, feels embarrassed.

Bhrikuti-vilasa lakhata Kamalapati, kimi Kamala kamani.
What to speak of Mahalakshmi, supreme God Mahavishnu keeps on watching the movements of Shri Radha’s eyebrows and expressions, feeling afraid of displeasing Her.

Soi ‘Kripalu’ vanacharina banayo, pranasakhi apani.
Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji says that the very same Shri Radha, due to Her causelessly merciful nature, graced the illiterate women of Braja and made them Her dearest friends.

Greatness of Radhey Name:
(Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj explains the meaning of four new kirtan verses relating to the greatness of Radhey name in Kishangarh, India, on September 8, 2009.)

‘Ra’ se sab bhagen pap Govinda Radhey,
puni aave to ‘dhey’ dhakka de ke bhaga dey.
...
When someone says ‘Ra’, the first syllable of ‘Radhey’, all his sins run away. But as he is a mayic soul, they all return. But when they do so, ‘dhey’, the second syllable, gives them a big blow and drives them away.

Radhey nam sunatahin Govinda Radhey,
Shyam bhaje aave bolen puni kahu Radhey.

When a soul says Radhey name with real feelings of love, Shri Krishna comes running to him and says, “Could you please say Radhey name again?”

Radhey nam ‘Ra’ ko suni Govinda Radhey,
Shyam bhaji aaven sochen ab bolega ‘dhey’.

When someone says ‘Ra’, Shri Krishna rushes to that soul, expecting that he will say ‘dhey afterward – even though that person may be intending to say ‘Ravana’ instead.

Radhey nam sunatahin Govinda Radhey,
Shyam bhajen peetpat murali gira dey.

When Baby Krishna hears Radhey’s name, he runs from Mother Yashoda’s lap so eagerly that His little yellow kachani (waist-cloth) falls off and He drops His tiny murali (flute). He runs towards the sound of ‘Radhey’ without even caring that He is naked.
