PRECAUTIONS FOR A DEVOTEE:

■A devotee who progresses continuously in devotion, even while living in an unfavorable environment of Kusang is a true devotee.
■Until there is pride, devotional tears won't flow during Kirtan.
■Real Seva is when it is done silently.
■God graces the one who surrenders, God remains firm in this law of his.
■The foundation of Bhakti (Devotion) is Deenta (Humility). The one who wants to obtain lot of devotional benefit will have to become humble.
■Become like a little child. No matter what someone tells a child he does not feel it, he is always smiling.

अगर आपको पुरा विश्वास है कि भगवान सब के ह्रदय में बैठा है और सर्वान्तर्यामी है और उसको पता है आपको क्या चाहिये तो आप उनसे कुछ मांगोगे ही नहीं.

If you truely believe that God is with in heart of every soul and is all knowing, and he knows what you need ,then you would not ask him for anything.

We often wonder, “If God is omnipresent, why can’t we see Him?” The Ramayana says that although God is present in each and every particle of creation, yet He reveals Himself only to those who love Him. And it is impossible to love Him unless we spend some time thinking of Him.

So make God a part of your daily life. Do not turn to Him only in times of need. When you get used to thinking of Him as an eternal companion, you will find He is the best friend you have and the "one and only" you have been searching for all your life.
