After detaching the mind from the world and before surrendering to God, there is need of a God‐realised Saint or Guru, without whom one cannot attain the supreme goal.

If you do not shed tears while taking the name of God, it is because of pride. And if tears come and you start to feel proud of yourself, then that is not right. Only a Saint can detect such pride. It is important to be in close association with a Saint (Guru) so that this pride may not get a chance to flourish.

आज नहीं कल कर लेंगे। बस ये कर लें,बस वो कर लें,फिर भजन करेंगे। इस प्रकार अनंत जन्म गँवा दिये लेकिन वह आज और कल न आ सका।
